Regional Vice Presidents |

Michael Baker serves as the regional vice president for the Mahomet, Paris, and Watseka offices. Mike earned bachelor degrees at the University of Illinois in economics and mechanical engineering. Mike returned to Farm Credit in 2009 as vice president of credit services. He previously worked for Farm Credit as a loan officer and credit analyst from 1986-1991. He is a member of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program’s Class of 2012. Mike and his wife, Laura, reside in Philo with their children—Nick, Jamie, Abigail, and Nathan.

Steve Carson is regional vice president of Commercial Lending. He was raised on a livestock and grain farm near Monroe City Missouri. He earned a bachelor of sciences degree in Agriculture from the University of Missouri. Steve began his career as a Field Representative for the Federal Land Bank of St. Louis and has worked for Farm Credit his entire career. Steve and his wife Dianne live in Mahomet and have three grown sons, Brandon, Scott and Michael. |

Chuck Foran is the regional vice president for the Carlinville, Decatur, Jacksonville, Jerseyville, Lincoln, Springfield and Taylorville offices. Raised on a grain farm in Seymour, Chuck earned agriculture degrees from Parkland College and the University of Illinois. Chuck returned to Farm Credit in 2010 as vice president of credit services having previously worked for Farm Credit in the 1990’s in Champaign. He has served on the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce AgriBusiness Committee. Chuck and his wife, Tricia, reside in White Heath with their four children – Will, Sarah, Abdullah, and Owen.

Shaun Murray serves as regional vice president for the Harrisburg, Lawrenceville, and Mt. Vernon offices. He was raised on a grain and livestock farm near Patoka. Shaun graduated from Patoka High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a master’s in business administration from Webster University. Shaun has ten years of banking experience, most recently as branch president for First Bank in Vandalia. He joined Farm Credit as a loan officer in 2010. Shaun and his wife, Casey, reside in Patoka with their daughters, Olivia and Abigail. |

Steve Witges is regional vice president for the Effingham, Highland, and Red Bud offices. He was raised on a grain and livestock farm in rural Waltonville. He attended Rend Lake College before earning a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Steve started his Farm Credit career in 1985 as a trainee at the Farm Credit Bank of St. Louis and then worked in branch offices in Quincy and Vandalia before becoming an account executive in Effingham. Steve and his wife, Jackie, reside in rural Effingham and have three grown sons – Ryan, Aaron, and Tyler. Steve enjoys continued involvement in his family’s farming operation in Jefferson County.
